Investigation day of young journalists

Today a mixed group of Slovak and German secondary school students attended a site visit to SPA Sysľovské polia as well as a presentation on the Great Bustard and the LIFE project for its conservation.
The aim of the group was to test their abilities as investigative journalists having to cover the topic "Great Bustard and the LIFE project". Their short reports will be published on a specialized page by daily SME.
The event was implemented in the framework of a bilateral project Nachhaltigkeit lernen, which is funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (Germany). Our international partners - the beneficiaries of the LIFE projects for the conservation of the Great Bustard in Hungary and Austria - emphasised the importance of cross-border cooperation for the Great Bustard´s conservation.
